When I started playing, I had no idea about swiftcast until I was cursed out. How was I suppose to know? Simply explaining about swiftcast would have worked instead of being rude.
So Garlyle is right. Don't assume. Try to explain while being calm. If they don't want to hear you out, let them continue to be fail. Maybe they will learn.

If you was a new player an didnt know then yes that is understandable. If you are lv 50 an in Titan HM (as garlyle stated), an still havent figured out about swiftcast, then ya, you are gimping your group. You will never be able to raise anyone in that fight no matter how hard u try, so you shouldve figured it out by then, as i highly doubt you never encountered difficulty with the cast time at anytime befor then.

Does it matter? This is a serious question, what does it solve exactly by listing complaints of people making moronic mistakes or decisions?

Stress relief? Maybe OP doesn't have an FC to complain to (or it was their FC mates making the mistakes). ^_^

You´ll always will have such "special" players. I just ignore them, give them 1-3 chances and then just kick them if it´s just one or leave the duty. It cost me less time waiting off the "punishment" than trying to get through the dungeon with them and getting headache in the progress.

Once more, how are you supposed to know about swiftcast i the first place if noone tells you before cursing at you? I personally did everything up to garuda HM till i found out swiftcast existed at all. People just assume you have it and when you start slowrezzing they loose their shit instead of saying "try to get thm cross skill swiftcast asap".

For people new to the game (or MMOs in general) there is quite a lot for them to drink in...Avoiding AoEs or rezzing the dead in combat might be mainstream to you and me, but to them the concepts may be completely foreign. The leveling process doesn't really teach them these things too much, aside from the occasional dungeon. That is where I believe it falls to at least some of the community to lend a hand. If they need help or a quick tip then give it to them...granted they want help at all. I've seen it happen on more than one occasion where they respond with "Don't tell me how to play, I'll do what I want!"...so I leave those types for the next group to deal with lol

I've run into far more people who don't number them and can't make up their mind which they want to do lol I don't mean the tabbing to keep hate that some people do, I mean actually fighting a mob like 10-20% then switching, then someone gets hate on that one D:<

I've yet to see someone marking at lvl 50 dungeons aside from Thornmarch, i even tried marking when one of my tank classes reached lvl 50 but no one seems to bother. On the other hand in low lvl dungeons most groups i get follow the marks.

99.9% of level 50 dungeon runs, everyone is severely over-geared for the content and can aoe things very quickly with no instruction. Only when I have very new DPS do I mark anything any more in low level dungeons. It's safe to assume most party members are experienced enough to not need marks on trash.

I did this because when i reached lvl 50 a few days ago i was undergeared (barely had the ilvl required for the endgame dungeons) and losing hate from the overgeared players from trash mobs, but after getting my relic and a few myth pieces this wasn't a problem anymore.
