Poll actually might be good idea , those who don't visit forums or don't like may skip , but those who like fourm maybe want this feature .

Except only a small % of players even visit the forums

And this is the reason we should not have this feature.
No source needed, its just understood.
The vocal minority on forums should not have input as to the direction of the game, an in game poll would be much better for that.
