I second this wholeheartedly although the drops from the new coil is so goddamn pretty, why couldn't we of have the High Allagan Design and those that drop in Coil get the Daystar one.. (said item also looks pretentious and just horrid). And as for the atma look on the Thyrus..yeah the extra gold and the mint green colouring with a red gem.. really doesn't go with anything.. xD

This is exactly what I have been wondering.

High level drops shouldn't need so much effort to be put into their looks, considering we will use them for their stats anyway.

On the other hand, those long forgotten crafted pieces or gear bought with tomestones could benefit greatly. A more natural gil/tomestone sink IMO, plus it utilises glamour further.

In fact, I would even go as far as suggesting that all the special weapon looks or glowing effects to be facilitated by high level crafters.

The evenstar coat imo on any female looks hideous, I simply laugh at anyone who doesnt glamor it lol .

One of the worst looking pieces of gear yet , (besides the top hat lol) which is worrysome if this is what they think looks good. Sadly its almost degraded to wow style gear .

Please, stop making players look like clowns, it looked hideous in 11 with numerous jobs/sets and looks hideous in this one too.
Remove the ridiculous tutu as well...just embarassing SE come on -.-

You had the talent to make some decent looking gear at the start, many are now just slight skin changes to the same look/shape, time to punch out some completely new but non foolish looking gear
Dont get me wrong its cool to have some gear ingame for a laughs like the spring dresses, sailor outfits, highland sets, snowman suits etc..but please dont make a class gear set look childish and laughable. You can do far better then this please!!

I played wow a long time, dunno whats wowstyle about it. There's no orbiting planets on the shoulders of it.

It has got to be the cutest armor set for casters I've yet seen. I liked Allagan a lot too, but not nearly as cute. Cute is what's important.

I have mained a male BRD since launch, so I genuinely just giggle at anyone else who complains about the way their gear looks.


After 6 months of wearing a pink blouse I finally have something that looks decent (Shikaree) and I still have a tablecloth hanging out of my belt loop...


On topic: The Miqo'te boner from the Evenstar does look horrendous. One of my FC friends has found some pretty interesting emotes to make it look like he is violating ppl with it in Mor Dhona though....and has generated some very good laughter lol.

Yes, it looks bad on females, but I adore it on males (even the hat). I'm actually contemplating making my male alt into a main caster instead of healer (as I intend) just for this set.

Never got a response but I supported it then, and I still support it. I love the outfit, but I can't stand that tail... I mean they will take stitched out of Moogles because people think its creepy, but don't take away something that makes Miqo'te tails look like a phallic object that people make constant jokes about in and out of game?

Also:

My Miqo' also doesn't like her tail (seeing that its the longest and fluffiest it can be) folded in half and shoved into a thin tube... that does NOT look comfortable.
