This trend needs to stop in my opinion.

Just because people use a Discussion/Feedback Forum to address or critique a FEW perceived 'issues' about SOME aspects of the game they dislike, it doesn't necessarily mean they should "GTFO".

It's tiring reading this over & over, and then reading childish debates ensue over the retorts.

All this does is often cause people to go up-in-arms, create flame, and/or help to necro threads.

Please just stop with it, that's all I ask. This' merely a plea for the wellbeing of the forum community.

A NOTE: obviously this doesn't apply to everyone who's made a comment of this kind, and clearly there are times it is appropriate... this post is reserved for those who love to make waves just for the sake of it. As well, it is not a complaint, it is merely a plea to those players for the betterment of the Forum as a whole.

People have the right to post their opinions and give their feedback. It is all in how people present these things in a lot of cases. If something is posted full of frustration and total rage...well, the same kind of responses will be given in return, sometimes worse.

Do not confuse pleas or admonishments with harassment/flaming/trolling.

Did I flame anyone in the making of this thread? Did I necro any forum posts with it? Did I intend to harass someone for hosting a legitimate concern/complaint/dislike? No.

There are plenty of generic responses such as special snowflake, vocal minority, if you like it so much play xxx, etc. Just ignore it, they are meant to trigger a response and doesn't add much.

Alright. This needs to stop. Gesser as much as you dislike it. At this time the people complaining about the game are by far what we like to call the "vocal minority". My reasoning behind this is in the fact that with such a massive playerbase, if the majority were upset with something in game it would be brutally obvious here. Such as a thread with hundreds of pages filled with people in agreement of said problem.

Except the "vocal minority" can speak as they wish. Just as everyone else can. If someone is unhappy with an aspect of something they pay for they can vocalize this. The money they spend gave them the right to do so. Do I have a problem with the game? Negative. The problem is not in so much as the act of forming a complaint or not it's people that feel they must be contradictory for the sake of being asinine, not valid arguments to the contrary of said complaint. You cannot simply say that a person that dislikes "trolling" and verbalizes this is a troll themselves for by the self-same act you condemn yourself. It's referred to as a vicious cycle. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them wrong. It makes them people. Time to move on lol.
