I'm guessing its because everyone and their mother believe that PS3 and it's players suck.

There's a lot of people who make the claim that endgame content is literally impossible on PS3, so proof that it can be cleared on PS3 is actually fairly important.

Anyway, whether you're actually the world first or it turns out that you weren't, congratulations.
