Congrats. Now get a PlayStation 4 please.
OP is a newb.
Upgrade to PS4 already.

Indeed. I was on ps3 and had to dodge things b4 they appeared, meaning i had to know the fight in and out and there was no room for error(example- moved b4 wotl appears in titan ex or else i die). On ps4 i have no problems with that. I can actually wait until things appear b4 i move, and still have more than enough time to dodge. Of course, I did beat all the extremes and t5 on ps3 b4 2.2, but it is soooo much easier on ps4. Levi Ex is easier on ps4 as well. The new ps4 controller makes accessing my skills in a split second much mor comfortable. The PS4 is absolutely fine. It's also got nothing to do with the question of controller efficiency vs keyboard efficiency, for once.
The chief complaints about PS3 has to do with its processing power being limited and a weaker networking card. Players have often noted that AoEs are more unforgiving on PS3 compared to PS4/PC, but you also get things like mobs that appear mid-battle taking a couple seconds between spawning and rendering (and before they're rendered, they're untargetable).
The differences do exist - but people often overexaggerate exactly how insurmountable these hurdles are. It's a handicap, but I don't think anything in the game is so incredibly strict as to be impossible with the handicap applied.

I guess it means that PS3 players can solo T9. How is it a bad thing, I wonder.
A team is still composed of 8 members, as far as I know, so it took THEM twice as long. And maybe (maybe heh ?) that's because they aren't no-lifers enough to just blow it all in 2 weeks. Just a guess. It may also because they are 8 PS3 owners or they are all so bad that they only cleared T9 in 4 weeks. Let's all "booh" these baddies who only cleared T9 when the awful populace still struggles at T5/T6. Such worms aren't even worth considering
FYI, I had then misunderstood what the OP wanted to say with their thread. "World first" was then (for me) totally irrelevant and it was just bragging rights when there was nothing to care about. The whole "PS3 can do it too" came after.
The reason why I never came back to edit/delete my comment was because I had totally forgotten about that thread tbh...
Still, the point remains valid. An awful lot of so-called "progression" groups, when they see they are late on the clear, just wait for infos to be released before even attempting seriously the new turns. I'm a part of the few who are taking their time and who will go straight blindly, making their way through the content at their rythm.
oh and btw you're right. Anyone using a down video and studying it beforehand to get a down is nowhere as good as they are. Only skillful people are those who got their own ways of doing things, cleared the stuff, THEN used other strategies to min/max the pros and cons of their own. I'm nowhere as good as many people are, given that I only cleared T5 with iL93 and 15% echo. Yet I learned the fight myself without any guide of any sort. That's my pride, and I'm not bragging anything out of it.

and what's the proof that you actually cleared it?
it's just a random picture from a Cutscene that is found in every Youtube Video![]()
Maybe it's just a thread to bait ppl into starting a ps3 limitations etc bs war lol.
But back on topic , if it's true then yay i feel better knowing a fight like that can be cleared on ps3.
Hopefully i'll be able to clear t9 in a few months from now, probably a month after 2.3 is released?
Assuming that patch will be coil catch up patch as it will have no new coil but will have new installments to CT instead.
