Atma for Grand Company Seals??

I try and play everyday but sometimes I don't get the chance. Usually I play for about 3-5 hrs when I do get the chance. Lately I'm having trouble having a good time doing the Atma Quest. Its been a month and I only have 6 Atma.

Would it be so bad if one Atma cots 50,000 GC seals?

I don't post much and I'm honestly not trying to troll.
Does this community think there will ever be a change to the Atma Quest?


I just figured if there was a chance to purchase it, even one Atma for 100,000 GC seals, at least I would have the feeling of making progress. I could even go back to doing dungeons and having fun playing the game again.

Anyhoo thanks for any responses, I just had another day of no Atma and was curious if it was gonna be this way forever. I'd like to do the quest line for another job, but if its this way forever I guess bard will be my only Atma weapon.

I think there will be a change but it won't happen until 2.28, which prob will be last week May.

I'd expect changes in 2.28. As it stands at the moment, it's getting more and more difficult to farm Atma. This is simply due to the number of people farming FATE's dropping right off.

I think they should add something like mythstones rewards from fate. Not much! Maybe one or two mythstone per fate, cause then people would feel they got something out of doing all those fates instead of doing their daily dungeon runs.

I like this. Similar to how they adjust the rewards for doing daily roulettes based on if you are lvl 50 or not.

I think they should make Atmas buyable with GC seals seeing as how you can literally farm for 2 weeks on one atma, and not get it and it wouldn't be weird. I've been farming Atma of archer at least 2 hours a day for the pass 2 weeks ;C.

I'm actually torn on this, though that might just because I've been lucky with my Atma Grind so far. I really enjoy the excuse to get out of my FC house a bit (because damn I love it in there, even if it is tiny and cluttered) and honestly while it's annoying to be at the whim of RNG, I kinda like just being out there and helping folks with fates anyway.

On the other hand... I can imagine that the frustration felt by folks who haven't gotten the atma they need for a week or two must be pretty unbearable. I guess I just don't know if this is the right solution to that problem or not.

(mayhaps I'll change my mind later though, I've made the fool choice of grinding for two atma weapons at the same time and I'm sure I'll get tripped up eventually)

Farming atma is soul crushingingly boring and frustrating. My only advice is to keep your right side inventory loaded with SB stuff (when you are doing higher level fates). At least you can make some gil.

I don't see why they could add something like this. I mean either way you're grinding. I think I had earned close to 160k seals by the time I was done getting my Atma.
50K for one Atma is a lot so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to.
