Cannot use keyboard in ARR

I recently bought a wired keyboard and mouse to play on the PS4. The game allows the use of a keyboard and mouse set up, so I decided to try it out. I plug in both the keyboard and the mouse, log into the game and go into the game and enable Mouse Mode. The mouse works just fine, but the keyboard doesn't register any of my actions. The keyboard itself is showing that it's connected, but it does nothing. I've checked to see if the PS4 has registered the keyboard, and it is, but it still doesn't work. The keyboard I'm using is a Logitech G510s Gaming Keyboard, while the mouse is a Logitech G502 Tunable Gaming Mouse.

A quick google returned hits stating the G510s doesn't work properly in general with the PS4... posts dated back to February up through a couple weeks ago. Several were specifically about FFXIV: ARR.

Are there suggested keyboards I should get that work with the PS4?

Also, the mouse works just fine, and it's from the same company.
