Repairing Repairs

Wow.. this is getting ridiculous... do they even think about it before implementing, i mean they could have called it something decent or change it up a bit so it make sense..

"Piles of Scrap Iron" > repairs armor and stuff with iron
"Strings of Yarn" > repairs cloth stuff
"Straps of Leather" > repairs leather gear
"Vials of Synthetic Substance" > Repairs alchemy based stuff
"Planks of Lumber" > Repairs wood made items
"Handful of Shiny Stones" > repairs jewels and accessories

that took me less than a minute to come up with, come on, all you can come up with is a magical item called "Dark Matter"????? Please change the name at least before releasing. I'm beginning to doubt future changes...trust fading... ughhh!

"Omg why am I repairing bronze with iron!!!"

Also that's one item for all ranks of repairable items. This way is better because it give different items to repair different ranks without taking up the 30 inventory spaces your way would if they separated based on ranks.

Who is gonna carry all different level of dark matter, repair the entire Eorzea? chances are people will carry their own level 1 and level 2 dark matter, and they would seek assistance to for level 3-5 repairs. With the repair NPCs price going down, it would be much easier, even if its last resort.

Point is your idea was not as good as what they're doing.

Also I am going to carry around all 5 grades if I can, since repairs are a large source of income for crafters.

EDIT: Repair NPCs can still only repair up to 70% durability.
