if anything the NM gear repairs will be simpler. I only know of one type of enemies that drop Spoken Blood and Void Glue is a R33 ALC synth

GOOD.
I don't think the majority signed up to play "semi-realistic-not-really crafting simulator". Give me my piss easy item repairs which shouldn't even be in game in the first place so I can get out and actually do things.
I cant recall a time where the repair system actually prevented me from doing anything. Maybe i dont play near as much as you, but i've only even had a single instance where my sword was so bad off that i had to tele into town to fetch my repair matsI don't think the majority signed up to play "semi-realistic-not-really crafting simulator". I'm glad to see this. Now I don't have to carry multiple materials unless I'm spamming out craft grinds or it was something from gathering leves I just did.
I like this because for one thing, weaver needles are a pain in the butt to get the repair mats for. Whetstones you get from rocks found QUARRYING and there's so many of those points to go around compared to primary mining nodes and you have to contend with other drops from the same point (don't ask me to waste gathering points mining nodes to get back to the quarry point). I'm sure those with NM drops with insane find repair items will enjoy an easier method too.
I dont care for this.
If they are going to do it i hope its a rare item or cost a lot of money.
I level all classes at the same time and inv space isnt really a problem.
Not to mention player housing is just around the corner.
I can see not being able to find mats thats the one thing ill give you, but thats what the repair npc is for.
All i know is if this becomes the mainstream of repairing items you might as well do away with it all together.
i say
1# drop the NPC price less then 5 k for all items
2# make it so the NPC can repair to 100%
but dont implement a fix all materia.
it takes away depth and purpose to the DoH classes
hell make it so DoH classes can make repair kits shit
"Dark Matter - thought tanaka got fired?" ha! thats going in my sig!

I dont think its THAT big of a deal since you still use all other "old" repair materials to make items in the first place. Its a change for the better in that the items needed are simplified, yet you still have to pay for the items as well as repairs. So while its not that different, it is still a much better choice.I dont care for this.

now that's the repair system i've been talking about like months ago.
finally i can stop bazaaring my repair mats for millions just to safe space, good go SE!
Sounds good to me. Its great for weapons that have stupid repair mats like Disabling potion and Jadeite.
if they are adding this for the casual players i would think casual player wouldnt spend emuff time in the field to degrade items to the point of uselessness. they should take them selfs to the casual npc.
im not saying a lot of mats isnt a problem for some ppl im just saying there has to be a better way to go about it.
