It didnt make it more difficult. It made them annoying. Those coblyns would follow you everywhere and just act as a general nuisance.

Also Gria settlements would be nice to have around Eorzea. Other ideas? :P
Within the strongholds, after making your way through a ton of beastmen, you get to the central settlement where Beastmen NPCs live.
(These are Beastmen that are willing to communicate with you but still despise you.)
and/or
Make all new Friendly Beastmen Tribes.
(The Slyph are cool and do in fact have a Village that has been .dat mined.)

I would rather make it to the middle and be able to fight a free roam beastmen NM. Or even multiple NMs in the settlement/stronghold like Mee Deggi the Punisher, Tzee Xicu the Manifest and Quu Domi the Gallant like in Castle Oztroja.Within the strongholds, after making your way through a ton of beastmen, you get to the central settlement where Beastmen NPCs live.

Yea, Davoi and the Orc Settlement near SanD'Oria were also cool, i like the idea of NMs with a backstory in strongholds.
I would also like to see an instanced area where you could go chat with a few of the 'elders' or 'warchiefs', maybe even get quests, after all, the Beastmen in FFXIV are not the direct enemy.

Some other ideas?![]()
Only problem with mandragoras as a friendly race would be that a future beastmaster wouldn't have them as a pet option, which would just break my heart.
