    Subscription Payment Error: 406

So after my subscription ran out, I did tried to resubscribe with my debit/credit card, only to get 406 errors. I tried buying crysta through paypal or credit card and it gave me 406/401 errors.

Afterwards, I tried calling support, only for them to insist it is my bank's fault (although I have used debit/credit cards from multiple banks and also personally called and made sure they are not blocking payment) and that there is nothing they can do to help me.

Anyone know anything that can help? Also, SE, you need to do something and have a support center that can ACTUALLY SUPPORT YOUR PLAYERS.

could be that visa/mastercard could be blocking the payment seeing as im guessing thats type of card u using from bank so if it is depending on what type of card it is u might need to contact visa or mastercard and get it fixed.

    http://www.visa.com.au/index.shtml
    http://www.mastercard.com.au/

make sure u change the site to location your in via the drop downbox. then contact them to get it fixed.

I had the same issue. Customer service said the same thing. I had called the bank first and they confirmed that it absolutely was not blocked by them. In fact, the $1 "ping" charges were posting to the account. Even further, my husband, who shares the same bank account as I do, and uses a visa debit card as well (with different numbers) went through fine, while mine did not. Yes, the funds were there.

This is NOT NOT NOT a "banking issue". There is something wonky with the payment system SE uses.

In the end, I had to purchase crysta (shocker: my debit card was good enough to use for that for some reason but not to pay for the sub via normal means).

I guess if SE doesn't want our money, we have the option of giving it to a gaming company that DOES want it. It seems they'd rather lose customers than acknowledge and fix the issue :/
