Depends of demand, as a blacksmith, prices can be good for a day or so then drop very quickly. I've been wondering tho, are provision missions same items for all or does it vary?

You are talking about the Grand Company supply/provision, yes? I wonder the same thing. I know it depends on what level you are, so a level 30 weaver isn't going to get a request for level 10 item (for instance). Seems to be a random recipe within 5 levels of your current level. What I don't know is whether everyone at the same level gets the same request. I tried to make money off the provision request my first week of playing, by making 10 or so of the items and listing them on the market board. I thought they'd be snatched right up as everyone tried to fulfill the request. Obviously, not everyone had the same request, and my items sold slowly!
You can level any and all class or job to 50.
Once you complete the level 17 main storyline quest "Scions of the Seventh Dawn", you'll be able to have NPC assistants called "Retainers". They serve a few purposes, one of which is to sell items for you on the game market-boards. This is how you offer items for sale to other players, and yes, for most crafted items (as well as most dropped or gathered items) you can get significantly more from other players than you can by selling to NPCs. It's less certain, though, as you have to wait for someone to come to the board and decide to buy it from you.
ah ok cool thanks![]()
OK since yall are nice and helpful....... So how many Jobs/class can you have? I just want to make sure I become a summoner. Usually I'm a sword and shield type character but when I started ff14 I wanted something different lol
There are 19 classes and 9 jobs in the game, and you can do all of them if you want. This is a really flexible game in that regard, designed to cater to completionists like me who like to do everything.![]()
OK cool, I like that other games you stuck with the one class and that's it. but only your main class goes up to lvl 50?
You can take them all to level 50, but it takes quite a while, since each class has to be leveled separately. Jobs level up along with their associated base class. E.g. both Summoner and Scholar level up with Arcanist (and thus with each other as well).
