one time password app trouble help

I download the otp app yesterday and no matter how i wrote in my information it kept telling my my id and password dont match. can someone explain why its doing this, it doesnt make sense i enter my SE ID as it says in my log-in info and still couldnt get it i even tried entering my date of birth differently ex (19980912, 1998 09 12)

Did you follow the setup instructions after logging in to the account management website? https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...n?cont=account

Doing that will give you an activation code which you input onto the app.

Can you still log into the management site without putting in a one-time password?
