Some people really do want to see the world burn it seems.Okay so it may sound a little crazy. But who else thinks there should be..... wait for it....
ATMA ARMOUR SETS?? It should work exactly like the Atma weapon questline where you need to farm atmas from fates and when you get like 5 or so (10 for things like chest piece and legs) you can exchange it for a single piece of 105-110 ilvl armor. This would be the coolest thing ever because I could then have endless hours of entertainment from reading all the forum post from crybabies who want to complain about RNG etc... Anyone else agree?
2.3 MAKE IT HAPPEN YOSHI-P
It would have to be some really damn nice stuff to even make me remotely consider it.

Well its not like atma is that rare to farm. there is definitely a high end for how long i expect to farm per atma, and I am more than willing to deal with it. Especially when i get those first fate wins, which I also have.
The problem with the Atma part of the quest is that it can be completely soul crushing. I know people who have been farming since this started and only have 1 or 2 atmas.
Now Dungeons/raid aren't nearly as soul crushing because you are guaranteed something from your run. Be it loot, or just tomestones.
With Atma it's either a yes or no. If they had to go with rng, they could have gone the way of dungeons/raids. If you get gold in the appropriate fate you either get an Atma, or an Atma fragment. Gather enough fragments and Gerolt can put them together to form a whole Atma. That way people won't have to keep farming until the search destroys their soul and will to continue playing this game.
Time played does not equal skill and I don't know about you guys but I play a game to have fun, not so I can say I endured the game.
And for those of you already with your Atmas, that wasn't a sense of achievement you felt. What you felt was actually relief that it was finally over. Those two feelings are easily confused.
A little tip on keeping them straight, if you finish something and the first thought in your mind was "Hell yes! That was the best thing EVER! I am so AWESOME!" That is a sense of achievement.
If you do something and the first thought in your mind is "Oh thank god...it's done." Then that is a sense of relief.
See the difference?

Except the whole concept of the Atma weapon is that it's not supposed to take skill. The Atma/Animus were made to be an alternative for the people who didn't have the skill to clear T9 or farm Levi.Time played does not equal skill and I don't know about you guys but I play a game to have fun, not so I can say I endured the game.

Alternative or not, the whole thing was implemented poorly. Instead of being the Zodiac Saga as they claimed, they've turned it into some kind of torture device that only the most masochistic or completionist people will actually finish.
To call it a 'saga' is really a misnomer. I don't know about you but when I hear the word saga I think of a story like Beowulf or The Odyssey. Not the grind to end all grinds.
It doesn't have to involve skill but if you're going to call it a Saga at least have more of a story than "Bring me back this and I'll make your weapon look different. And when you're done with that, buy these horribly expensive books and do what they tell you so I can actually make your weapon better."
No more cast bars for Bard! Thank you, Yoshi-P! All hail our lord and savior!
Well if you think about it logically, this is only the first steps in the "Saga." For your orginal Relic you had to do the boring stuff first like killing 30 random mobs and running AK and such and such before you could do the more epic parts like Hydra, Chimera and the primals. Who knows maybe the last part of the Zodiac quest requires you to kill T9 ten times over. But im sure people would just complain if they did that coz that's what people love to do apparently. To call it a 'saga' is really a misnomer. Hmm... if they ditched the RNG part and just used the progress part... maybe.
A troll and a Yoshi garbage rng supporter. Two of the most worse things on the planet. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
