What are the three dungeons you like the best?

Say also why you like them!

    I'll start

    1) Pharos Sirius
To me, is a masterpiece! The epicness of music, the encounters mechanics (difficult but not impossible), the awesome bosses cutscenes and the overall feeling to being into that dungeon, makes me no dubt on which one is my own preferite!

    2) The Lost City of Amdapor
Here, seems to run into something outside the time itself, feels also like time have stopped there. And the background music gets along with that feeling.

    3) Haukke Manor
Exploring the manor, and the feelings of what happens when you open that door first time are quite unique, then any boss you encounter fits perfectly with the overall progression of exploring the manor.

    1) Labyrinth of the Ancients.
    I absolutely love this Raid/dungeon.
The boss fights, the aesthetics, the music (Ohhh, the music. So amazing), everything.
Can't wait for 2.3 to see the next section. Eagerly waiting the redone Crystal Tower theme.

    2) Brayflox's Longstop.
Still have fond memories of learning this place when everyone was still new to the game.
We wiped multiple times every run, was great.
Some of the prettiest environments in the game, too.
Can't wait for the new dungeon that is set in the open.

    3) Praetorium.
Hard to match how awesome it feels when fighting the Ultima Weapon.
Even after the dozens of times I've been there, I still love fighting it.
    The music makes the fight.

    Hmm.. hard to say..

( in no specific order )

    - Sunken Temple

I like the total flair to it and the different Mechanics and also the "hidden" chambers and the little Puzzle. I would like way more "Puzzles" and actually complex/more random ones. Sunken Temple is pretty much a "one time" Puzzle, sadly. But yeah.. beside that little Point i really love it.

    - Lost City

It is different to the allready existing ones and it has Diabolos!!!.. The dark flair when going down the ramps, together with the pollen outside makes it really unique. Even if i would have liked Diabolos to be a actual Primal ( SE!! MAKE IT ), i am glad they made him "Oldschool", together with the FF8-Flair Animations it is a real fun fight.

    - Stone Vigil

I LOVE Snow Areas and Stone Vigil needs a Hard-Mode Version.

    In no specific order...

Pharos Sirius - Great opening music (if only it looped!), fun bosses and overall enjoyable aesthetics.

Lost City of Amdapor - Entertaining bosses! Also, the overall mood here is just so very nice. The music, the abandoned ruins... I'm a sucker for post-apocalyptic settings, more or less.

Sunken Temple of Qarn - I just love all the minor things, like the puzzles and hidden passages that come with them. Feels like you're really investigating a recently revealed ruin! It's also the first place which begins introducing more interesting mechanics, both for the trash and the bosses.

Honourable mentions go to Stone Vigil (I love snowy landscapes, old Coerthas sucked in comparison, there, I said it!), Praetorium (Boss rush, woo! Cutscenes, woo!) and Brayflox's Longstop (Can't really put my finger on why, it's just fun).

    I think my three are:

    - Lost City of Amdapor
    - Haukke Manor (normal or hard... but I really like the hard one)
    - Praetorum... mostly just for the epicness of the Ultima fight. (reminds me, I still need to do that Minstrel's quest...)

An honorable mention goes to Pharos Sirius for it's amazing atmosphere and mechanics.. but it just doesn't give me the same happy/epic feeling as the others do.

So, It's interesting, as some of you bring up great points, which make me reconsider.

they all are for the most part the same.
-I don't think you and I are playing the same game.

Right now, my #1 favourite is Lost City of Amdapor. I've only done it once so far, but the unique mobs in the dungeon, the unique atmosphere, but visually and audibly, as well as the mechanics. The mechanics aren't hard or complex, but they are neat. The Wamoura boss, I was told how to keep threat. It was an all FC run, and the WHM still expected me to mess up. (I'm the tank) and would run away and call out to start killing another Wamoura etc, even though I had it under control (had another Wamoura sitting at 5% hp waiting for the timer on my stacks to get lower) Either way, boat loads of fun.

My Favourite fight right now is probably The Second Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 1, also known as T6, and Rafflesia. That's a love for the mechanics. my static group can't clear so I pug it at the end of each week which really sucks, but it's better than grinding out some of the other dungeons etc.

Back to Dungeons, #2 and 3 are probably Halatali. no specific order, but NM and HM.

I wish there was more lore, cutscenes, etc for some of these dungeons. Hell, I wish there were more things with cut scenes out side of the main story. Real cut scenes exist in what? Main Story, Class/Job Quests, and hildebrand quests. I would love for there to be references of new dungeons in various cutscenes, and then have separate dungeons with the bosses, to tie the dungeons back into the lore of the game, and build the excitement of finally defeating Jormungund the Terrible or something. (Vs, a brief, horribly introduced dungeon, with text that is plain and uninsteresting, and then a dungeon with random mobs and random bosses.)

Brayflox has decent story in it, but most others are lacking. (For Story content)
