Viera inbound? *spoilers maybe*

So we know that the next class to be released is most likely to be Bangaa based on that dual wielding chick in the extended story..... That's all well and good for those who like to be lizardy

But for the creepers like me who want to go from KITTY to BUNNY!! I want to know;
When will the Viera join us...
WILL the Viera join us???
And you better hope that you release fantasia as purchasable if you bring the Viera in SE :P

Vieira is just too similar to Miqote imo... you just exchange a set of hear/tail for another one

I think that of all the collections of races Final Fantasy has had, Ivalicians are the best assortment, and I'd take Viera over Miqo'te any day, but I would highly doubt that they'd bring races from other 'worlds' to Eorzea. More likely, it would be an Eorzean imitation of some other popular Final Fantasy race, and I can't think of one that would be begging to be added... maybe with the idea of an Ishgard expansion a variation of the Gria would be interesting, but I can't really think of anything else...

I would agree but we already have that bangaa lady setting up shop in LL for us, she's from . . . . "dhoma" or something like that right? . . . So the Ivalicians could all come here imo

But in all seriousness, is the Bangaa thing confirmed? The rumor I like the most was a dragonkin, hence my Gria comment. And I still hope they alter the race's name and features slightly to better mesh with 14 lore.

I would much much prefer the Gria myself too!! Gosh Damnit I hope you're right, I just literally was basing this off of the tail in that woman, it's a very very bangaa tail . . . .but the ears / horns aren't reminiscent of any of the other races excluding Elzen:

Yeah, a scaly tail could mean a Gria-like Dragonkin race, and since it's supposed to be a forerunner to the first expansion and since they've been hinting at the first expansion making Ishgard accessible for a long time, a Dragon-like race would fit the bill nicely.
