Since there would be a possibility of players being disconnected during this time, we will simultaneously be performing maintenance on the North American/European Data Centre Worlds. During this period, the Worlds listed below will be unavailable.

T6 was completely unplayable yesterday

Moves have been made. Seems most of the time one thing is fixed then two more things break. First 3 months of the game was flawless for me then an update came and had some lag issues for a few more months, then and update came and I am smooth again. Hope I don't get the shaft with this one!

Unfortunately there's only so much SE can do on their end. If Comcast and other providers refuse to upgrade/repair their networks then customers are pretty much screwed. Anyway...not like internet providers have much competition with they way they keep buying each other out.

No competition = no need to improve service

Ars Technica had a fascinating series of articles about the big american ISPs playing a blinking game with the providers like Cogent, Level 3, etc regarding transmission fees and infastructure upgrades. It's the reason why your netflix fees just went up, because they wouldn't budge and netflix had to negotiate with them directly to stop their packets from dropping.
