You could always buy a win. People are still doing that these days.

Never. I refuse to RMT.
I'd love to make friends with players who are experienced on Excalibur, but finding them is so difficult... especially when every dungeon run groups you with people from other servers! I like that for how fast it provides content, but hate it so much at the same time...
Hi Raxiaz,
Sounds like you guys need a good group. While I know the idea doesn't necessarily excite, if you are interested in server transferring, I know a FC who's got plenty of experience running that particular content and is actively recruiting. if interested, check us out at www.xoohq.com.Other than that my bes advice is find a good FC group on Excalibur and work with them to get though the challenge. I agree the Extreme primals are very demanding, but it's all doable once you have a team that is dedicated to the cause.
Good luck regardless.

OP,
I've cleared all EX primals with DF groups, from practice to finally clearing them....so DF group is not an excuse, and I play tank.
Like others mentioned, if you are having problem with Garuda, can't image what would be like when you face Titan...
Ifrit, Gauda, and Leviathan took me few days with DF groups, Titan took me weeks, and that's pre 2.2 with PS3 lags. lol
With echo buff it's much easier now, seriously...just keep trying....
The only tip i can give is, remember the fight.

Who said anything about RMT?Never. I refuse to RMT.

He meant that since Killing groups are asking for a 'small' price, he would have to resort to ways to get these Gils, other than playing normally and amassing the amount.
I am against it too as well, but hey, if somes are unable to complete it, they can pay, although I am concerned about the next content, if they will make it harder and harder..
OP: I just cleared Garuda EM yesterday night. I would suggest asking your FC (got one from there, others were.. absent >.<), then LS (good friends from old FC and other nice peeps, the rest PF.. if waiting is too long, DF for the missing ones.. (we ended up complete with our LS, 3 had already cleared it)
We asked in PF an average of 75, but most people were 85.
It was my 2nd try (first time was.. well. lets say it went wrong) rewatched a vid (been a while) Died stupidly (sometimes my fault, sometimes not) but everytime I was learning the patterns.. (MT here; watching 2 enemies slipstream was a first for me: i'll have to adjust the settings, but I did it nevertheless)
Without TS or mumble, it's very important to have patience and to communicate, be it with signs and waymarks too!
So getting that Echo buff 15% (and understanding the mechanics of the fight, we downed it close to the last minute)
And watching the 2 stack from spiny before pulling it (need macro <se.3> with a note) Communicate, hope for everyone to be patient (type it in PF comments, instead of "must have cleared it before" or any stupid comments lol) and you'll have your win!
Good luck, there is hope.

Exactly. I'm not going to buy a win because that's not the way I'm going to play this game, point-blank.
Most of the sellers of these clears are really just RMT diplomats anyway, that's what I meant by saying "I will never RMT."
Feel free to post the best strategies that have worked for you guys, especially where MNK or other melee DPS are present.
In the mean time, I'm going to focus on joining every party finder entry I see until I get it right. It's gonna have to happen sometime. I'm used to the fight... I just need capable peers to help with it.
Not really, I even do sales with my FC and I live in the UK. As long we don't involve real life money making nor involving it, it's perfectly fine to do so. FCs sell wins because it's a way to make Gil and people want it. Buying wins doesn't mean you're bad, it's also people that are sick and tired of wiping because of incompetent players. People can complain or hate, but we're not going anywhere. Even sold a pack of Turn 5 runs to players, since some of the community were asking if we are selling wins for it. We don't bother anyone to buy our wins, they come to us.
