If the alliance wipes on the first pull to the Valefors because the tanks pointed the tail swipes at everybody, you can bet your ass I'm going to be leaving. I don't have time for CT trolls.
The same goes if I see people purposely stacking skeletons on Bone Dragon or voking it off the main tank to wipe the alliance. If they want people to not leave or vote abandon CT they need to make it so you can kick trolls. There is no recourse if someone in another party or a whole other party is trolling except vote abandon or just leave.

If you are talking about players leaving while someone is in a cut scene then I'm with you on that. Players can leave while someone is in the cut scene and they receive no penalty.
As for increasing the time penalty to 60-90 mins for leaving after the dungeon has started I'm 100% against that. I've been in some really bad Titan Extreme groups where after 15 mins Vote to abandon is issued but fails because people think there is hope. Why should a player have to suffer because of a few. Also not everyone leaves because the group sucks. 30 min penalty is more than enough.
This is just as wrong as asking for an increase in penalty. This can be abused so damn much. Players can vote kick someone right before the last boss, Or someone could DC before the last boss and not make it back, I'm also against this as well.
*speed runner much? ^^
I hate speed runs: MMOs is not about not talking, not enjoying, burning content and then getting bored/leave the game. They give you 90mins to complete? You choose to get in, enjoy the scenery.
**For sure they'll have to brainstorm this..

What does speed running a dungeon have to do with getting screwed out of rewards? Yes I like to speed run as much as I can, But I'm also not that player that does BrayFlox HM and leaves after the 2nd boss. I do my "Speed Runs" in Duty Finder and stay till the end.
Giving the rewards at the end of a run will not help, It will only cause more issues than the one it tries to solve.
Yup this totally works I've had plenty of players "Fake DC" right after the 2nd boss in BrayFlox HM.
I agree with this. If someone chooses to Leave the dungeon because its not what they want, Then they should lose the Bonus for the Day.

Well 90 minutes in a dungeon that takes 15-20 certainly isn't my idea of fun. Then again if your dungeon takes 20 minutes, you're not speed running it anyways.
As for talking to people? Time spent typing is time spent not doing dps, healing, or tanking. But if you really want to talk? Do it in FC or linkshell. You just another random in the DF, so don't expect much conversation out of me.

I remember chatting and joking around with party members a lot back in the early days of wow. This is an mmo you know, not a mutliplayer game with a chatroom (which what you seem to think).

I'd rather have a scaling time penality. That way people that abuse the leave feature do get penalized for leaving often but the other players that rarely ever quit don't get a longer penality because other people abused it.
Scaling time penalty that resets per week would be the best idea. It punishes repeat offenders the most.
