Odin / Behemoth Trophy Myth Exchange

This morning my server failed to kill Odin before Zantetsuken. Given that on occasion he's dead within two seconds of starting this got me thinking how we could drum up more interest in fighting him. The mantles are useless once you have every item especially now that the housing item's price has plummeted to next to nothing thanks to ventures.

How about a myth exchange for spare Mantles and Horns? Perhaps 50 per Horn or Mantle? This way people would get 250 myth for Gold. I think people would be much more inclined to go and slam these monsters if that's the reward they'll get from it, as opposed to basically nothing that we currently get. I personally enjoy fighting them both but I know that a lot of people, largely due to the still prevalent lag issues, simply don't bother. With a 250 myth incentive to help, wouldn't most people go?

It's not such a problem for Behemoth as there's no DPS check. But when Odin is cutting everyone in half because there's just so few people there, it's time to somehow make it so people want to bother!

Really? Server goes berserk every time he shows up. Unless he spawns at some ungodly (huehue) hour, there's no need for them to add more of an incentive than already exists.

Your server might but mine certainly does not and there may not be a need for them to add it but it wouldn't have any negative impact if they did, only positive.

My server used to go crazy so much so that you'd see quite a few trolls around shouting false reports of Odin being up all of the time. But now each spawn barely gets enough people to down him going.

I know, this is nothing to do with Odin, but for some reason it won't let me create a thread and your thread seems related, I've found the use for a ilfrit's horn but do you know the price they go for by any chance?
