Calling all Summoners!

ArcanistCompendium is live and up!

Arcanist Compendium started out originally as a Scholar only, forums for theorycrafting and all around Scholarly stuff, and has since turned into an Arcanist site for the same! It's a place where we can all gather to deal with all things Arcane and keep things easily accessible and centrally located without the hassle of having to sift through all other kinds of forums!

Now, seeing as how it's 6:30am here, and I only started working on it last night, please go easy on me! It's new, it needs users and it's going to take some time, but feel free to join up, help populate the forums with any and all informations, guides, BiS stuffs, videos, and much more!

There's a suggestion thread for anything you wish to see added, and I do read it daily. Multiple times. It's my new car so I'm just trying to keep it polished

We Finally have some summoner chatter going on (and lets be honest, aside from skill videos and SCH POV video guides, we Scholars don't have as much fun theorycrafting as a summoner with actual rotations! Come join the Arcanists Compendium and help GROW the class and both jobs in one location! No need to gloss over thread after thread hoping to find SOMETHING about SMN's! Keep it in one place

There are plenty of places to discuss summoners (example: this forum). There's not much point in going to some random forum to discuss it when the people who view your thread and posts will be close to none.

Also, I'm pretty sure this is self promotion for ad revenue on your website.

The site he linked to is nothing more than a forum. We are on a forum. I see no reason to move. If you want to discuss summoners and BiS and all that, there's nothing wrong with just making a topic, instead of making everyone move to some random other forum he made.

We have topics for the other DPS classes on this forum as well. Again, no reason to move.

thanks folks! I appreciate the support and kind words. I pretty much haven't gotten off my scholar since it dinged 50, and it's a load of fun, but since we of course BOTH come off the Arcanist class, I figure we should invite our brothers and sisters to join us


I plan on keeping it nice and clean looking (as you can see) and nice and organized to make it easier and easier to find things on it. Once it gets more populated, and the game gets more indepth, I'll add an index for easy finding of the related threads (yes, there is a search box, but hell, sometimes I get bored. lol)

I'll gradually add more little tweaks and things that count, but it's still in it's infancy and while I paid for the site for an entire year already I'm still waiting on it to grow before I put a TON of time into it. (It's bad enough I spend at least once per day just tweaking settings and looking into addons to throw onto the site while not making it too cluttered.

With any luck and some support from the populace by adding some helpful threads and some chit chat going on, it could be a very popular site, which I obviously hope it to be.

I'll have to figure out how to add a mouse over link to skills and what not so there's no need to open it in a new tab just to see stuff.

Also, I do plan on adding an opening web page/blog kinda thing, so it's no longer "Just a forum, we're on a forum" and making the important things on the front page instead of in the news section of the "just a forum".

Added a section at the bottom of the page for recruitment for any FC's looking for Summoners/Scholars as well as any Summoners/Scholars looking for FC's. It's new, so there's nothing posted yet! Will you be the first?!
