Thread: 1.0 Ending, Did you know?

But did anyone actually know bahamut was inside beforehand? Or was everyone just guessing how the world would end before the servers went offline. If so, how was your reaction seeing bahamut unleashed? I would assume that would be one of the greatest endings of all time.

We were guessing. There were hints, some people guessed right, most had no clue. I wasn't really reading into the hints. I assumed the moon would just crash into the world, not explode just above the surface to reveal Bahamut.

Of course, the final battle of 1.0 with Nael Deus Darnus implies that it was more than just a moon. We also knew the moon was artificial and made of Allagan Technology.

It's nice to see someone who didn't play 1.0 appreciate the fact that being a part of 1.0 for the story at least was really an awesome event. Those of us that were part of 1.0 were basically part of the prologue of ARR. The opening video of ARR is a good representation of that.


EDIT: Also, at the time I just had no idea how we were intended to survive. But then Louisiox explained that his plan should work, and if it were to fail he would send us through a rift into a safer time.

Yeah, that was one of the most epic things I liked about getting the new Collectors Edition... the voice over for Louisiox was perfection.

I thought there was a person quoting the npc outside that Pee Pee dungeon cus it did mention dragon king in that npc's talk. and he said Bahamut is coming.

he didn't directly link that red moon thing is an egg and inside is bahamut, but I think he is the closest.

/think then what did catapult did so he can be inside LL npc's dialog... I kept thinking it's him predicted bahamut...
