I remeber something funny.. when you do (/pary) at atomos or voidsents or those wondering soldiers, your character would instantly get killed XD. I think the 12 would curse you and you die.

The final event was laggy as hell, but it remains one of the best moments of my MMO life.
The reason is simple, everyone was playing with everyone. Healers were healing and raising from everywhere, tanks were trying to hold hate on most mobs...
No trolling, just like if everyone who played until the end wanted to "be a part of this".
It lasted something like 2 hours maybe, and during these 2 hours, with this music and this feeling floating around, I felt like I really wanted to save this world. And this is coming from someone who cannot stand RP.
It was just.. how it had to be done.
And when the "contact was lost", when the waves of mobs stopped, we could gather with the LS to take last pictures of this world about to die.
Yeah, I really felt like I was playing in a movie. Maybe even a bit more than this.
(But V1 was borring, don't regret it)
Yeah... 2 hours... i was able to play for 10 minutes only and i couldn't see almost any mobs since it took forever to load... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNrB3tbcOQk
Is there any way I can see the entire story line for FF14 1.0 (pre ARR)?
Including who the main characters were and such?
Thanks!![]()

Well there where hints that Bahamut would be in Dalamut, like Nael using Megaflare. When he was released in the cinematic it was like a facepalm... "Why didn't i recogniced it before"
There were a lot of theories, going around as Dalamud drew ever closer, and through all our attempts to prevent it, even after Van Darnus was using Megaflare, on the forums we didn't mention Bahamut being inside, SE even made us all think it would actually impact, what with calling the Garlean attempt to drop it the Meteor project, and the timer in the launcher saying "Impact in". The entire 7th Umbral era storyline was one of the best I have seen, and we really felt we were a part of events.
Even though we failed to prevent Dalamud (and Bahamut), I wouldn't say we lost the conflict. When Bahamut was released, he was pretty indiscriminate as to who he killed. Since we was unleashed in Eorzea, it took the brunt of the attack. Our over-arching goal was to counter the invasion of Garlemald. I'd call it a "Pyrrhic Victory". We did succeed. Garlemald did not in fact successfully invade us, we are free from Garlean rule. But the price was so great it doesn't feel like much of an success.
I'm an optimist.
Minfilia clearly misses Lou, she even has his broken up staff behind her. She stepped up as leader after his death. Thancred was affected probably the most. The guilt he feels for failing to save him gives the Ascians the ability to....you know. So 2.0 does acknowledge his sacrifice. I do kinda wish new players would look up Lou, and realize why he is an important character. SE could have done something with the Echo where we experience memories of Lou from the different Scions.
