    PC to PS4 Switch

    Hi there!

I started out on PC, but quit for other games when the PS4 was released. I was thinking about rejoining on PS4 , but especially since I want to try out ESO in June, I'm not too keen on buying a whole new copy of the game.

One thing that may make a difference would be a second free trial.

Does anyone know... if you already had a PC character, and you buy a PS4 copy, do you get another 30 day trial?

You wouldnt get another free trial, you would be starting where you left off on the PC. If you wanted another free trial you would have to create a new account, and not register the PS4 game to your current one.

That's indeed ABSOLUTELY incorrect - you'll ofcourse get another 30 days for each new platform you register (so for PC + PS3 + PS4 you can get up to 90 days). If you have (access to) PS3 you can also purchase much cheaper PS3 version of the game, register it and log into the game at least once on PS3 and then upgrade it to PS4 version via Mogstation for free. You'll receive free 30 days as well.

HEC already answered your question, but I thought I'd chime in as someone who was considering ESO. "Meh." is how I'd describe my thoughts on ESO after hitting the PS4 version of FFXIV:ARR. The former didn't offer any open betas, so I couldn't test my interest in the game without buying the PC version. It also has numerous bugs reported (Bethesda status quo, really) and it's fairly new. FFXIV:ARR on the otherhand is a correction of several mistakes and my experience with the game has basically made any want of ESO vanish.

Yeah, there's no doubt FFXIV is going to be quite a bit more polished than ESO. But I still appreciate some things about the direction they're going... first person view for immersion, a little bit more action oriented (I'm growing pretty bored of tab targeting)... I think at the end of the day I'll probably play a little of both. I'm not much for pushing through endgame in mom's anyway these days, cause my life got a bit too busy. 90 days of both will probably put a smile on my face =)

    Thanks for the help, guys!

Not to slander another game on here but ESO can suck it. Awful game.
