A universel Party Finder

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or even possible, I was playing last night trying to farm Myths so I can get my books. I went and created a party on the party finder, there was 8 parties in the finder, mostly were for atma and coil. After 30 mins I gave up as only one other dps joined my party. If we could combined all the servers into one party finder should solve this issue as there will be more people looking.

Good or Bad Idea?

I think it's a marvelous idea and initially I thought that's what it was going to be. BUT I think the idea is to find reliable people on your server, and this could hurt that and make things very complicated and might end up causing more drama than necessary.

Good idea but I doubt it can be done with current game design.
We might be able to access PF pool within server group but question is can we join party from server B while we in server A ?

For this we have duty finder. Just don't quit after the second boss if the others want to kill the endboss.

A lovely idea, but impossible the way the game servers are set up. There is no way for you to connect with players on servers outside your Data Centre. Could always make it DC-wide though, I guess, that would give you what, four servers worth of people? Would only work for instances though, not things like atma or maps.

I think we already have a universal party finder. It's called a Duty Finder.

I'm on Leviathan and at peak times, we have 20+ PF up for just about anything. I would not want more to have to scroll through them...

With one important difference... With DF you can't select an ilevel requirement that you want, and can end up with people that are clearly not geared enough, or not skilled enough to make up for lack of gear.

Yes (for data center wide anyways)! I've suggested this before as well. It could help fill gaps during off-peak hours. The DF isn't helpful if you want to farm 2 bosses in Bray or watch all cutscenes in a dungeon.

They may start looking into that after the first expansion is released. The server management team is still probably pulling hairs trying to keep things running from the recent PS4 launch. They will also need to keep a close eye on things for the first big expansion as that will be a good bench mark on what kind of spikes will occur from such a major update.

Once those trials are done with, I'm sure they will have some new project surface for restructuring the hardware. This could probably go right up on the top of the list.
