I said people need to stop relegating it to ONLY that, which is what's happening and it's wrong.

Who are you the DF Police or something? People can (and will) use it any way they want. There's no "right" or 'wrong" way, only what you've made up in your mind.

Let me spell it out for you, FC has 60+ members, roughly 30 of those are daily regulars, most are multiple 50 and endgame, coil, atma grind etc.

New guy says hey can anyone help me out with tam tara?, lol wut? DF dude.

A FC like that is just terrible and I would leave asap for a better and friendlier one. One FC I know has 100+ people and always find more people to help than there are new players requiring help.. even with Coil, atma, etc..

It's just common sense. If you are really trying to learn, you need to adapt with your group to the mechanics, and that requires time. It's not that long for 4 men dungeons so it's okay to go blindfold in these, but for the difficult content (HMs back in time, EX now), 1 hour won't be enough to :
=> get along well and work as a group
=> learn content
=> clear content


That's why PF is here, because it gives people you can requeue with and thus skip steps 1 and 2 (step 2 after a few times in).

As an example, I learned titan EX in DF (due to time schedule) and it took forever. Then it took even longer to kill it, and I only got my kill in PF. (4 month in total, 3 hours a day)
Then, I used PF for Levi ex, and I knew the fight's ins and outs after 3 hours practicing, and then only needed 30 mins more to get the kill and enter farm mode..

I won't enter a Leviathan DF or a Titan EM DF.Maybe in 12 months with ilvl 150 or something like that , when 4 o 5 players coud kill him

It's not a terrible FC, I have known many of these people for years, they are busy, with coil, atmas, tomes, "jobs" etc.

Because I was out for a month they all crammed to endgame, when they are done grinding the content mentioned above they are burnt out, and do not want to grind content they have done before.

Df is a problem "because" the leveling in this game is light speed, and the vast majority of players are at or near 50/endgame etc.

The combination of these things makes for a facepalm/ bang your head on the desk mess at low level.

The options for clearing storyline content in this game without those vets tagging along is nonexistent, unless you want to memorize a youtube video before every run.

Oh well im done with this topic, ill just start making my own PF groups, and blist as I go.
