That's the risk you take when going in a DF. :/
Most PFs are farm parties only or wanting kill experience/everyone to know the whole fight. Even PFs that are learning parties get players who are there to 'help' but have and no patience for those who are learning so instead of learning it just turns into a disastrous 2-3 runs of trying to get it until someone goes '*sigh* obviously no one has seen this before./Uhhh I have to wash the cat. Bye'.
The main difference between the 2 honestly are just the range of players, the 30min penalty for leaving, and the frequency of people communicating. Both DF and PF would have better success rates if people would just communicate and have patience, which is more likely to happen on PF, so of course the success rates of DF will be lower and it will be abysmally low if people dont talk with each other or expect a one/two shot win without some struggle.
If you want better win rates in DF communicate with your party, and realize it might take a few tries.
