Well, I like to leave suggestions every once in a while, and see if it would get the attention of people, cause hey, I like the game, we like the game, so why not?

First off, a thread recently spoke of how the "skilled" players dont want to help the low leveled players clear end game content cause they basically do it once and rarely unless theyre in farming mode they do it again, and also how theres lack of gear to obtain.

Well, I got what may be a possible solution. Since we have the primal weapon, then how about we also give these weapons their own upgrades?

Sure, the ilvs of each gear is different with 60, 70, 75, 80 and 95.

However, since the gap of difficulty in the extreme battles is narrow, its possible to implement the same upgrades.

How would they upgrade? Similarly like Leviathan EX, but since Levi EX is the highest ilv of all the primal weapons and with no loot reward on Hard, then the upgrade method for the new weapons would be different, these being

First Upgrade: Combine the Weapon from Hard mode with an accesory from extreme. The items would be consumed the same way as you hand in items from rowena's shop

Example: Ifrit's Blade (60) + Inferno Bangle of Fending (90) = Ifrit's Infernal Blade (95)

Now you may be thinking, oh thats good and all, more gear options for weapons but how does this help the players new to the content? Well, seeing as we need the Mirror of the Whorl to upgrade the Leviathan weapons to 100, i could also do the same for leviathan, but since the 2nd items you gain from the bosses can be bought from the market, i want to avoid those, and instead implement new secondary look that can drop directly for a player. Example once again being ifrit, it would be "Ifrit's Crystal Essence".

Now, for the next upgrade, it could be

Ifrit's Infernal Blade + Crystal Essence = Hellfire Blade (ilv100)

What about moogle, who has a ilv100 accesory?

Well for moogle, the new weapon would be 100, yes, and with the essence, it would become a ilv110, seeing as Moogle King is the hardest/latest Primal Extreme boss.

Now that would be neat, sacrifice an accesory to gain an even stronger weapon and then another item for a ilv100? but what would stop this from being the same as Levi Ex's abysmal drop rate of the mirrors? Well, the next part could also help the new players and experienced both.

When Parties are running the Extreme primals with players that are new/not havent cleared the content, then the drop rate is increased. Would it increase by having more new players? What about a team of nothing but people new to the content?

The answer to these questions would be up to a capacity. For me a 50% drop rate for helping one new player to a content sounds appealing. Helping 2 for double would be jawbreaking but unlikely. If the majority of players or even half the party consists of new players, then the drop rate wont increase

But Ark, wouldnt this basically be forcing the skilled/elitist to take newbies off the game and just make them clear content by doing nothing?

Sadly, that is one reality of what could happen but we cant see the negative aspects. If the skilled have a chance for a higher reward by taking the time to help a new player clear content. I for one, tend to avoid the elitist crowd who charge millions of gil to clear coil and primals. I've met a few of those, some nice, some rude, and I dont care much for the service. If people are willing to pay for the service then good for them, its their gil, but it still makes me sad that people w/o help will only have this choice.

Course im not saying these SHOULD be the names nor the exact, theyre more like examples, but if everyone understands what i mean, perfect! Shouldnt there be a kind of system for helping those lagging behind. There will always be those who will drag everyone down but there will also be a struggling person assisted by a kind hearted samaritan. Theres both the good and bad in this but nothing is perfect until its worked on.
