Yet another pointless feature honestly if people want this so much play Sims but I guess it's something people want and I have no problem with it until they turn around and make it a requirement for relic upgrades.

This is so bad...why do poeple always want marriage in these games? Let's just add mortgage too while we are at it. You can have kids too!
This is fantasy game not real life. If you want to add marriage just don't call it marriage call it like "life bond" or something then you can "life bond" whoever you want and avoid the whole heteronormative BS.

That is the best solution. "Marriage" is way too much bonded to religions and people's mind about sexuality, that it calls for trouble in any way it is done.
Making something "assimilable" to it but unique to the game, and maybe attached to lore, will be great. In the end, the result we all want is make a special bond between our character and another, right?![]()

If they aren't adding same-sex marriages then they aren't doing it right. And if they aren't doing it right, I'd rather them not do it at all.
I actually didn't give that a second thought since technically you could interspecies marry on this game so same sex really isn't a thing
So if I fantasia myself to female, get married to my long term bf and fantasia back to a version of me with the fun parts, can we still be married if the ring item is still in the inventory?
Eh, you think that's stupid what about this idea that people wanted?
If there's a demand, then it's not stupid.
PS. The party finder is actually representation of a real life job board. You'll notice postings asking of previous experience and what not... LIKE A REAL JOB.
Y'know, out of all the games I played, the only MMO's where there have been "issues" about same-sex anything are the games where the DEVELOPERS themselves make it a big deal.
SWTOR and FF14!
Trion did not come out and make some sort of announcement regarding same sex, they patched it into the game and that was that. No fuss
ZOS LAUNCHED with it, said nothing and there was no fuss
Bioware and Yoshi: "Oh we don't know if the player base will react well to it, we don't want any controversy"
Controversy ensues.
