Or use food and finish the encounter faster/easier. When it's something as simple as food, why wouldn't you give yourself an advantage?

Food is dirt cheap (like ~2k for the good stuff) so there's really no reason not to have it.



Even though they ate it, people should have been using food on those too, especially in merit parties. Pretty quick to get kicked if you show up expecting to lower everyones exp/hr by being cheap.

Pretty quick to get removed from a PF group here if people are being cheap too.
