It is simple , It is youtube videos one of the worst things to happen to online gaming. Most skill players no longer will teach players how to play and will just tell them to watch a video and it will be the most popular one. People tend to forget that we are not robots and are humans and not everyone got the same eye, hand coordination and reflexes. Yet there are usually other ways around the most popular video for all players to work around and takes longer times. Yet people want it fast and now.
So most skill players usually just hang out with good friends or like minded people. And then when they do join a duty finder they may found a better way to run the dungeon for the party , but it is not a popular youtube video and ask the players in the DF to do something and they like say "i know". Refused to changed from the video they were train on. To make life easy for everyone.
sad to say this but you're better off with a video, and i wish you wasnt. It is simple , It is youtube videos one of the worst things to happen to online gaming. it's better because god forbid you ask questions, ppl get pissy and call you names...or simply, DON'T RESPOND!happened to me, and i died
and someone said to kick me.
i am honestly scared of the DF because im scared ima mess up, get kicked, get reported for some reason b*tched at hard. this damn game is like playing league of legends. it's very refreshing when ppl try to help. i try too, even tho ima horrible explainer xD! sometimes i have n choice but
to use the DF. My fc is either busy or doesnt have alot of 50's or something.
you screw up one damn time and that's then end of you.
i thought there were a lot of adults on this game, and i'd finally have an a mmo with a mature, see ppl have kids and wives but
they turn around and be a f*ck head to u, u wonder if their wife n kids get this treatment or husband catches an earful all hes life.
i said in some previous posts, ill never watch a video and learned as i go or ask questions. sadly, we cant do that anymore w/o
everyone having a conniption so i joined the video club.
still loling at the fact IGN called this community "great". must be on something that day lol.

Problem is, theres so many who either totally ignore any friendly advice and keep doing their own thing. Or turn around and throw back insults. Doesn't stop me from trying for those that are receptive and see themselves improve, which makes it more fun for not just the rest of the party, but for them selves.
Terrible anti-social behaiviour can be found in all types of players, not just the "top" players
I disagree. Youtube videos are great because anyone that doesn't have much time to play or new to a fight can learn on their own and not be dependent on finding players to teach them.It is simple , It is youtube videos one of the worst things to happen to online gaming. The person who was offering to help for a payout of 4,000,000 gil said I should stop being lazy and put in the time to find helpers. I see a contradiction, he says I should put in more time, but he expects 4m gil for 10 minutes work. It would take a long time to make that kind of money through normal gameplay without robbing a fellow player. I already put in enough time to find good groups without success. I don't want to play a waiting game any more where all my time is spent seeking suitable helpers who have the same goals in mind. Since endgame content is off the cards I just have to wait for v2.3 for the next set of main scenario content in order to have something new I can progress with.
Firstly, if someone wishes to pay 4m, then the person receiving the money is not "robbing" them. They are receiving money and providing a service in return. The person who was offering to help for a payout of 4,000,000 gil said I should stop being lazy and put in the time to find helpers. Secondly, your estimate of the time taken ignores several factors. The people selling the fights have likely spent a large amount of time learning the fight thoroughly and have invested their effort into extremely high performance. Just because each run takes in the region of ten minutes does not negate the many hours of work prior to that.
If you don't wish to pay, then yes - form a static or join groups and learn the fight to the point you can defeat it. It takes time to learn and best a fight in an MMO, and if you've barely put the effort in then you can hardly complain. Unless you perform perfectly, never getting hit, and maintaining a very high output, you still have more to learn.
Does this actually work?
If someone made a seperate account and leveled it to 50 and caught up to endgame stuff and bought gil. They would then look for people selling runs for millions of gil. Once they have found their target they would then use the bought gil and pay them for the clear, once they " infect" the run seller would that run seller be valid for a ban because of the interaction with bought gil?
If so, then haha lol someone should go try that.
Why would I help someone who's not asking for help? Some people wants to learn on their own, while some wants to be carried. If it's the latter, sorry, but I'd rather not waste my time on people who doesn't want to exert an effort in learning.
