My reaction to seeing Atma Grind unaddressed.

I know some of our players have been looking forward to the continuation of the Zodiac Weapons quests that I mentioned in the recent letter LIVE, but the release of these new quests has been postponed. Our reasoning for this decision is, in brief:

• Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon.
• We would like to incorporate feedback regarding the difficulty of the Zodiac Weapon quests.
• We are working to increase the number of locations where materials for the next upgrade can be obtained.

You do know that many of those comments were in regards to the Novus weapon, and who is to say they have not increased the atma drop rate.

Many players have expressed the opinion that this was a stealth change that we intentionally failed to mention in the patch notes. Rest assured that such changes are strictly against our policy. (We realize that our players are much too sharp to fall for such tactics.) I realize that the inaccuracies and oversights in previous patch notes have no doubt led to such concerns, a situation for which I sincerely apologize.

If it's not in the patch notes, it wasn't changed. At least not intentionally.

Yoshi P said that. In his statement about his policy to not do "ninja updates". If the update doesn't say drop rate's increased, it isn't.

I don't recall anyone saying they were doing ANYTHING to Atma anyway. Nothing more than rumors/hopes and dreams if there were any comments on it.

Just like comments on the original quest that all the folks whining about atma didn't read, they didn't take time to read the post about why the quest was postponed, and now they are whining that drop rates weren't increased like Yoshi said they would, even though he didn't. Good news is now they have two things to whine about, that they have time to post on the forums, but not farm atmas, and that they didn't bow down completely to all the whining and start handing out atma's like they are fun size Snickers on Halloween.

Nothing in that post by Yoshida claims that there were going to be tweaks to Atma, and even if read that way, nothing in there claims that such adjustments were going to be made in 2.25

They did made adjustments to the ATMA system. A complete overhaul of the mfing color scheme! Flipping us off would have been the cheaper option here. And no, I am not an advocate nor asking for handouts. The system just need to be streamlined to be actually rewarding via a measurable achievement rather than making blood sacrifices to the RNGesus.
