I know this wouldn't solve everything, but it should be based off the timer as well as each boss.
For example, you kill bosses 1 and 2 in Brayflox HM. You get to the last boss with 10~ minutes left,
and you cannot down him to save your life. Timer runs out and you are booted. You are rewarded
your Myth for the first 2 bosses after the timer runs out.
So basically you accumulate Myth per boss but you are not rewarded until either A.) The final boss
is killed or B.) The timer runs out due to not completing the dungeon.
I know this wouldn't help any with the que in progress, but if people wanted that Myth they would
run the entire dungeon/stay the entire timer or be rewarded with nothing. People are gonna que
in progress for last boss no matter what for Soldiery I think, there's really no way to fix that.
I also realize there are times where you might DC, or get kicked for no reason, etc. I know there
really is no "perfect" solution, but this might entice people to not go in for the first 2 bosses then
bail on the rest of the party.

Total agree, since reset is tomorrow this will be the first week since patch I've been unable to cap sold, since every dung I'm doing either healer or tank quits after second boss, it's got beyond a joke now and that the only way to cap is dungeon spam when reset happens
Also to add I've reported this six times since yesterday now and everytime got the standard support reply
I love the game but this is destroying one aspect of it due to selfish part of the community
I just hope moderators, GMs, developers or whoever is entitled will do something.
Hate to be on the bad people's side.. but as long as they aren't voting to abandon, they have every right to quit out of the dungeon and eat the 30 minute penalty. Reporting them in this instance is doing absolutely nothing since they aren't breaking any rules.I would tend to report those to a GM... no big hopes on that, but maybe they get disciplined, ...
There is no Rule they are breaking exactly, but is against the good manners in an MMO...
Myth Farm Grps are very common today, not hard finding or form one in PF, so no reason to mess with the Roulette runs...
Only exception would be DD´s other than Bard or BLM, due to lack of AoE Damage, most PF Groups are formed about those two classes only, making it hard for a Dragoon to find a Myth-Grp...
Quitting like that could be seen as trolling .. i don't want to say it's should be considered as harrassment but since their actions affects badly other players' experience and it's annoying just like tells from RMT they should get something worse than 30min penalty during which they could do everything else. That's why reporting them to GMs should worth it and result in something different from a standard reply. . IMO

If they leave and get 30m penalty, that's fine, even if that does not makes any sense with "farming", as long as you cannot requeue for 30m.
If they instead will go afk waiting for a kick, you can report for harassment. Don't forget to make a ready check before start last boss, or you cannot report them for being afk after they told the party they are ready.
It affects badly other players? Yes. But that's not trolling. You don't see it clearly in that case, but you will in this other case: if one player its very bad (Very very bad) shoud I be able to report him? He might be afecting players badly, and be very annoying. But no one (or almost no one) thinks that shoud be reported. Is the same with that. They are not doing that to troll, it's just that 3º boss, for a really amazing bad desing, have no purpose for them.
Anyway, a suggestion that might work for people having troubles with this: Stay a bit in the dungeon. There's a lot of lazy guys like me that will join 2/3 dungeons because I don't care about mith (And if I cared I woud use pf to get them). Of course it will depend on your datacenter, but on mine I don't think anyone have to wait more than 5 minutes, even for healers or tanks, once in a 2/3 dungeons. Of course is diferent on a 0/3 or 1/3, but that's not the case we are talking about...

I see your point but there a (big) difference in intentions. A bad player doesn't want to exploit others he's just bad for lag, lack of experience or whatever reason. He's just bad and chances are that he will even say something at the beginning while these are guys who don't care about other players and will quit without saying anything. In this case there's the intention to trick players. And the fact that they don't use party finder makes it worse.
These are the reasons why i think it could be seen as trolling..
À player that leaves the dungeon doesn't want to exploit others, he simply doesn't care.
ANway, really, have no sense to blame the player for such an amazing bad desing.
Yeah, of course people coud think about others and spend his time for others just to be a "good guy". Sure. That can happends some times, usually on the country of the candy
But usually won't happend, and the desing of the mechanics shoud be in place to appeal for some "good manners". The way they're right now it's incredible. If it was in my hand I woud have people fired for the amazing bad work they're doing with this in SE. Yeah, mistakes can happend, but come on... how come this is not solved on 2.25??
