    I don't need any HNM like creatures roaming around in the open world outside of FATEs, but having (true sight) mobs that can kill even an ilevel 100+ player in a couple of hits guarding several open world sites would be great.

    Getting hit with Weight should invoke an "Oh shit!" response at any level, not an "Oh piss off!"

    We're not going into a beastmen zone at level 1 if we don't have a reason to, even if it is to feel "afraid".
    By the time the game sends us in with a purpose we have already reached a level where individual mobs aren't even a threat anymore.
    Things might get a tad hairy for a fresh level 50 int their AF loins if there are 3 or more mobs beating on them, but even that can be solved by running 10 meters in any random direction as they lose interest once we move out of their personal space anyway.

    There is no threat, there's nothing to be afraid off, there is no reason to have to sneak around.
    And why? Aparently because placing high level mobs in certain locations "would be too stressful".
    The best games are damn stressful. I agree with all you said.
