I want Cid's beard on my character

Cid's beard is the perfect beard style that I want for my character, except I can't find any combination of character customizations to achieve that look. I want to be a midlander Hyur but the fullest beard option has a disgusting shaved area on the cleft of the upper lip. Why did you model a full, great looking beard for the game but not make it usable by players?

The highlanders have a fuller beard option but it's also pretty gross looking where the mustache connects to the sideburns by length, not by fully connecting.

Is anyone else sorely disappointed in the beard options for our characters?

My male Miqo face only has an option for peach fuzz....bleh. while I would like more beards, I would still like some things to be exclusive to NPCs. Cid's beard kind of loses it's luster when you have thousands of people with that same beard. Or lots of people are weaing Minfilia's outfit. I feel some outfits or facial hair, or hair styles, should remain exclusive to the important NPCs.

There's nothing iconic or special about Cid's beard. It's just a normal, everyday beard. Sure I'd agree with you if it was something like Seneca Crane's beard from The Hunger Games, but it isn't. I'm not asking for his hair style or his wardrobe, I just want a beard that doesn't look like a shaggy monkey that connects my hairline all the way across my sideburns / chin line / lips.
