I love AMVs, just for the community support and the influence it has on other people who is not playing that specific game.

Although, doesn't SE restrict splitting the original soundtrack off a recorded FFXIV file? (ridiculous I know). Plus posting it here where admins can see it >.< Or was this lifted some time ago?

User-made Music videos are, sadly, against the ToS. Looking at those videos they were made with 1.0 materials and posted before the release if ARR, so they might be safe. But still it might be better not to post links to them as SE can get the videos taken down or have the users banned

Something SE should realize is outdated. Wish they would take the free advertising, just like when they took down that one lalafell video with the wacky arms

I agree and it would allow SO much more content to flow out of the community. But as it stands they won't. We've asked (huge topic way back) and nothing came of it. Rather disheartening.
