Turn 7, phase-4, what make boss not use curse voice before sherik?

My PT always have this issue today, I don't know what is the reason. Normally boss always use curse voice every after certain period of time before the giant who got petrified to awake.

However, after the last add spawn, and we killed it off, the boss sequence always change to this.. He use Petifaction, new ability that he just get from add, and then just doesn't use curse voice at all until the giants are all awaken and kill whole pt. The party guess that it is dps issue, but we don't know if it is too fast or too slow. or anything we should worry about?

My assumption is that I need to wait until boss use curse voice first before killing the add. Is this correct? Or we simply need more dps to boss?

Does curse voice trigger by % hp or by time? And any good tip to make sure that giant can't wake up before curse voice is up?

Pretty sure Cursed Voice is a timed ability and if you go into a phase transition at a weird time it might throw off the timing until the next one comes out.

For example, once the first set of adds pop at 80% Melusine's ability rotation resets and it'll be a Cursed Voice followed by a Cursed Shriek. Not quite sure how it goes after the Persecutor comes out. My focus at that point is waiting on Petrifcation to look away from it. I haven't done the fight enough to memorize the movesets at that point so I'm more or less just reacting to whatever happens. There's usually two Cursed Voices for every Shriek, then you have Circle Blade, Petrifaction and Venomous Tail as well.
