While the UI is pretty terrible, in Character tab of the Character Config, you can uncheck "Store all newly obtained items in the Armory Chest." This will put any new gear in your bag.

Gear that can be turned in for seals appear at the bottom of the turn-in list, just have to scroll down.

I have all combat classes and all DOH/HOL on 50 and all of them are well equipped. So the list is a huge mess and lacks so many comfort options I can't even understand how they can program something like this. Filter for items you wear? Nope. List sorted alphabetically? Nope. List sorted per item type? Nope. Distinguish between armoury and inventory? Nope. Newest items first? Nope.

And to top it, when you submit more than one item, the list is built DIFFERENTLY each time you have returned an item. Item positions change and I do not have the slightest clue what order the UI follows. Random? How was this UI element tested? Purely functional? Yes it works, you can return items. But wasn't there a single tester telling SE that the system is far from beeing user friendly? Has it ever been tested from somebody who has several nicely equipped chars? I seriously doubt it.

Yes please add both options with checkboxes.

    1. Only show items in your inventory.
    2. Don't show items used in gear sets.

That depends on the ilvl of the piece you are looking for.
High ilvl is at the bottom of the list, low ilvl on top.

    Hello,

We wanted to let you know that we’re planning to improve the Expert Delivery user interface in Patch 2.3. With the adjustments that are planned, it will be easier to select which item to hand over to the NPC as you will be able to filter items that are in your Armoury Chest and inventory.

Please tell us this includes "right-click: hand over" (on the item itself in your inventory) and an icon to indicate "belongs to Gear Set" in the Expert Delivery Pane???

And a "mark item as favorite/junk" feature would be extremely welcome to coincide with this.

In any case, thanks so much Expert Delivery is a huge pain.

OH! Also, how about improving Melding while you're at it?

Let us decide "# of attempts" when trying to Over Meld.

Excluding items that are part of a saved gear set, will works great imho. If you want exclude some item, you will make a gear set with that.

From the inventory/armory chest, without locating and selecting the item you want to hand in from somewhere in a huge list of items beforehand?

It's incredibly pointlessly time consuming and about time it was fixed The filters alone will help but I also hope there is more than just that planned.

Downside is if people know they won't have to endure the current hand-in nightmare, then more people will probably lot on the trash gear drops :P

Why has nobody ever thought of... IDK, instead of improving the current system, just convert it to the standard Buy/Sell window, only with seals instead of gil? And grey out the non-available-for-trading-in items?

What's the point of selecting an item through a list of items we currently know, only to have to look for it again through the Armory Chest / Inventory THEN drag and drop / right click - handover before pressing OK? That's 4 steps total, and it's 2 too many.

To make matters worse, the Expert Delivery selection screen is inherently incapable of showing Spiritbond level or actual stats bonus for Aetherial items. Sometimes you get 2 Aetherial items of the same object with different bonus, and you just wanna sell one of them.

For me this will work great. The items I want to turn in are always in my inventory, not armoury chest, so filtering out the chest will leave a list that is 100% the items I want to trade.
