It doesn't take me three days to farm crystals/shards to craft. If I really go at it non-stop regardless of GP levels, I can get 1000 shards in an hour-hour&half if I slack.

That saying, I still agree that it is boring and monotonous, which promotes people buying off RMT bots and writing of illegal scripts.
