Battle regimens don't suit this game's combat system at ALL. They were supposed to be the "casual" answer to skillchains but it's a cumbersome and poorly thought out feature (like a lot of the things that make FFXIV "unique").

Again, I don't want FFXI-2, but if it works, use it. As we've seen SE is not going to make bank purely on special snowflake trying-too-hard-to-be-different ideas. Give me a new game and a new adventure but don't give me something that's actually FAR WORSE than it's nearly 9 year old predecessor.
