you're thinking that doubleshields is a small buff though, but its not, its a huge deal
within a week whm would be uncalled for, sch/sch would be almost everywhere

stop relying on the DF and join PF groups or create/join a static. Most all experienced groups are whm/sch. if you can get 2 scholars to stack shields on top of anothers and with crit bonuses then lets break the game. i want my regen and med 1/2 to give an unstackable with another whm shield on initial cast. if it crits it doubles. cures can stay normal as they are like physick. ready for op healers?
Stacking shields would be a big issue due to the previously mentioned Adlo crits on the tank, but I think we can all agree that currently a Sch/Sch setup is inferior to Whm/Whm (and ofc Whm/Sch is top for most any fight). Since the DF regularly places 2 Scholars in a team regardless of which encounter they face, I do think that some kind of synergy would be nice. Consider an ilvl 57-60 party on Titan HM with 2 Scholars. Non-stacking Succor for Tumult heals and non-stacking Adlo on the tank means they're in for a lot more work than a setup that has one or two White Mages.
Like others said I agree that the healing power of one Scholar is perfectly fine as is, but 2 Whms can easily spam Med/Med2 on the party or Cure2/Reg on the tank while our cornerstone skills only work for one Scholar per party.
That being said, I like the idea of converting a wasted Galvanize into some proportion of healing, so 2 Scholars spamming Adlo on a tank feels somewhat like 1 Adlo spam and 1 Cure 2 spam. Bonus: What if the Galvanize only converts to healing if the active Galvanize is not yours? I.e. Scholar 1 heals as normal, Scholar 2 casts Adlo while the other Scholar's Galvanize still holds and heals instead.

I've done T2 enrage with 2 SCH (1 being myself), and it worked out ok. Not sure the gear level of the party, but it mattered that us healers knew how to rotate our buffs so we weren't overwriting each other's.
The only thing I would like changed in Scholars is Embrace's cooldown. I know it's a little difference, but I would like it if it was the same as the cooldown for Physick and Cure. It would be really neat if the faeries got a buff when they are both out, like their spells last a little longer. But, not a necessity. Scholar is pretty well balanced, and 2 Sch can be pretty awesome if they know how to alternate buffs well.
I often read that a SCH has better heal and better dps than a whm.
And many SCH told me they can solo heal everything.
So, I think they have no issue for sch+sch as one sch can just help DPS? ^^;
So, having a healbot and being able to get two heals off in 1 global cool down, three 25% health heals off global cool down every 60 seconds, not having to manage your mana pool or manage threat is not enough you want more? Simply laughable, get good and play within your jobs' mechanics

A fix? On what? Are sch broken? I dont think so
I agree with what most people have already said and that it would prolly be a bad thing if Shields Stack and would make alot of content herp derp easy.
But I'm I the only one that feels that SCH could use another pet AOE heal besides Whispering Dawn (60sec CD)? Something like a AoE Embrace but with 100 pontency on a 3sec CD. The lack of this is why I think SCH struggle in content like EX Titan, Turn 2, etc... Succors front load HP recovery is pretty weak with only a 150 potency and I think the point the OP was trying to make is that the 150 potency sheild that comes with SUCCOR is often wasted since it doesnt stack with other Succors. If you ask me, 400mp for 150 potency heal (since 150 is wasted with other SCH in party) is not very effecient.
WHM significantly outclass SCH when it comes to AOE Healing, SCH Pet should bridge that gap. I think this is the real reason why 2 SCH doesnt stack as well as 2 WHM. And this should be the issue we should focus on.
Im surprised no one mention this.
there is a reason they are 2 different classes. Will you be happy if whms get pets that auto heal and give buffs and gain an ability that instantly lets us get mp. what if we get shields?
it is not an issue at all. 2 sch is 4 healers in 1 party. Titan EX is fine as long as people arent getting caught out of place a lot. also T2s argument is "enrage" which isnt how it was meant to be done, but they just allowed it.
They are both their separate classes and both have pros and cons. I like this post from reddit that explains it. I feel they both should stay where they are at. Eventually the game will get 1 or 2 more new healer classes. they have to somehow remain different from each other.
