Awesome, great ideas.I posted my ideas for card game several time in other threads. Here we go again, Déjà vu.
Card vendor Npc #
- this is npc in every of big cities. This npc can sell basic stack - 5 or 10 cards of "low grade" cards for gil.
- you can sell cards back to npc vendor for gil
- you can convert one or more of same type card/s into the craft material
- you can convert combinations of different cards into material
- you can challenge npc vendor for card game [ Tutorial ]
- some card/s or combination of cards can be convert directly to item ( example 8 of these + 2 these = ether, etc.)
NPC in cities, in small cities (Bazaars)
- some of npcs could be challengeable to a duel, they can wield low grade or mid grade cards
- some special npcs could wield high grades cards + rare card, so their skill of card game will be challengable
(note : You need high grade cards to have a chance to win, chance that npc will use rare card in game will be given by some % or different factor)
- NPC can take your card/cards away from you. You will lose it.
(note x% chance, they might use these cards in next duels ?)
Getting card from enemies
- basic, common enemis can drop their cards
(note : x % chance to drop, depends on enemy type )
- there could be different way to get card from an enemy - job - which can convert dying enemy to card
(note : this can not be 70 or more % to success however, it cant give card everytime - depends on enemy type )
- Boss can wield their cards
(note : x % drop rate )
PvP
- you can challenge every player who wields x amount of cards needed for play. Player can accept or refuse.
- you can lose or win card from the game
Card Quests
- an primary idea is something like PvE tournament (FFIX).
Rules
- special rules for card game can be set different in regions
(note : you win or lose 2 up to 5 cards from the game - same as FFVIII, it worked great there)
No more ideas this time.
PS. You might have missed it, but click the hidden button on post #2. I made sure to include your ideas from the other TT thread.![]()
