Mage lb3 on leviathan

There's more than one way to skin a cat. In the end it really doesn't matter that much if the group is competent.

The best way I've seen the spumes LB done is on the front 2 spumes plus the head and tail. LB damage is not reflected onto the mage so this works very well.

The big bonus to getting off your LB ASAP is that it'll make a single bar LB available at the end of the fight to smack Leviathan with.

Are you implying that triangles are how cheese is supposed to be cut? Every GOOD player knows that squares are much more effecient.

Almost always end up with at least 2 casters in PF groups anyway, it's not like I ever see any groups going out of their way to get them.

I like using LB3 on head/tail/front 2 spumes. Generally there's enough DPS in the groups I'm in to burn down the 2nd caster add without needing a LB.

well thats interesting but on our server casters are rare and parties sit in pf for hours looking for them specifically. it's very silly.

That's the problem when players follow a guide blindly instead of working out a solution. Me and my friend form a pf for levi farming and only realize we don't have any caster in the group, they wanted to go out so someone can change class, I told them no, we go with this, just kill the 2nd set of spumes 1 by 1, use LB on caster add or levi. 2 smooth runs, easy as pie.

Most DPS don't know how to hold back (have to show off those huge numbers, after all), so double Tidal Roar + double or triple spumes popping at the same time = fun times.
