A Tank shouldn't be insulted to see a Tank pet out whether it's Topaz at low leveled dungeons, and let's all be honest to ourselves GLDs at this level have trouble holding enmity on groups, or Titan later on.

There are so many things wrong with this. Instead of being elitist and using a tank pet wouldn't it be better served for the overall community to offer advice and then if you get no results bring out the tank pet? Also Gladiators/Paladins can hold onto groups just fine. Maybe not as well as Warriors but it can still be done. Just to me comes across as a Napoleon syndrome when obviously you should be trying to be part of a team. This whole thing is insulting on many levels. I have also seen titan tank and he doesn't handle threat well, which makes this even more disturbing.

Offer advice to what? He didn't tell the healer he was doing a big pull, ran ahead while cracking jokes about Titan, pulled too much, wasted his Vengeance cooldown, died, Titan prevented the other three from dying. I can't telepathically know that the tank is about to go Leeroy Jenkins, there's no advice to give when I don't know what to give advice on.
I've used a Paladin a lot, I detest using it when I have to control more than 3 mobs and I never touch it after getting WAR to 50 even when PLD was 50 first.

I main both PLD and WAR. They are both fine in groups of more than 3. Instead of using titan you could have helped the damage contribution more and thus also helped potentially contribute to the wipe.

Since you have mained summoner for a long time then you should have no problem pulling off titan. I have used summoner a lot less than you and I have no problems. It is also entertaining to see a summoner using Titan as I can easily rip threat off. But the thing is, Titan isn't for dps. Plain and simple.
