SE please fix the issue with packets lost / terrible latency through Cogentco

title says it all, tons of players are having this issue through the several routers to Canada. Most service providers do not give eligibility to change the routing source of their connection. This can only truly be fixed by re-locating servers out of Canada, Providing an Iron foot to the routers, or lose a huge US player base.

I contacted Cogent Communications and told them about their ip address/hop 38.122.42.34. The operator said they are aware of the problem with the line and they are currently trying to fix it. They couldn't give me a time estimate as to how long it would take. All they said was that there were people on site, trying to isolate the line, and fix it asap.

If they cut a major fiber trunk... it could take a while. It happened once in Columbia.. major trunk got cut and they had to bring in equipment from the National Guard to get it fixed faster. Even then, some people were SOL for a couple days.
