    [Suggestion] The return of Notorious Monters

    I think the time is right for the return of Notorious Monsters in Eorzea.

    Add new FATEs with pop times between 4-18 hours, then use the Atma RNG to randomly give players some kind of reward? I think if you dropped 20 that range from level 10-i90 it would give players that much needed desire for more over world activities.

    I'd like to see this.

    Alongside it I'd also like to see regular NMs with traditional pop conditions and without a FATE blaring its location.

    Definitely for it. Although, given the very small size of the zones, it'd be quite a burden upon the servers and player base in general. I mean Behemoth and Odin are essentially NMs. I think most of us remember how that was... LOL.

    The very long and rare spawn timer is the real problem with those FATE NMs. People don't want to miss out on this opportunity to fight Odin or Behemoth, thus overloading the server. If this crappy spawn timer goes away and 1.0 normal respawn timer replaces it (including the additional 4-5 NMs being implemented back in the game and spread out to their respective zones), then the problem with overloading will be solved in an instant. The worst heavy load you'll have will be equal to those during the beast tribe area after the reset

    You do know that there are already NM Fates of several, if not all, of the 1.0 NMs. I've fought some of these NM Fates in chasing atma (haven't gotten any... T,T ). So you want more NM Fates? I think we have enough as is, if not too many. Fates don't feel all that special, more would cheapen them even more, if that makes sense.

    NMs are fun, but without any kind of claim system or zerg limitation, they are just mindless zerg content. It's a difficult thing to fix.

    Maybe if the NM pop up as a NPC in the open world. Then the first party who click on it get moved into an instance where they fight the real NM while the NM NPC in the open world vanish again

    That is a terrible idea and flies counter to why they made the Fate system to begin with. All that will serve is to create the same claim practices that made NM camping in XI exercises in futility.

    Still waiting on the Titan, Ifrit, and Garuda fates that were supposedly in the works of being added. Although it'd also be nice if Odin and KB gave random Atmas.

    This is off-topic but does Odin not drop atmas if he's in the right zone? It's technically a FATE and if he spawns in, say, Central Shroud, I'd imagine with 100+ people, someone would get an atma. o.o
