Can I use same account on PC & PS4 to play?

Just really quick here,

I started FFXIV on PC, loving it, but sometimes I wanna plop down on the couch and play on the TV

If I purchase the PS4 version, will I be able to play my characters on both platforms? Id love to be able to be like "Oh man I wanna play FFXIV on the PS4 today" and then be like "Oh man I wanna play it on my PC today!"

Can I do this? :P

Yes, just so long as you register all versions on the same account, you can play on all systems and access your characters, the only things that do not transfer, are local settings (User Interface, Macros, System Settings).

Also, if one of the versions you register is a collector's edition, you still get all the rewards regardless of the system you play on. Hope this helped, good luck and enjoy the game!
