Except the character gets level synced so isn't lvl50 anymore.
Also, "grinding" fates at that lvl is completely pointless since you are doing more running then anything. you get a ton more xp of just doing quests and doing the fate that happens to be close by.

At least they're not soloing the fate for 15 mins only to fail. I remember plenty of those. Kids have it so easy these days![]()
I'm leveling an alt right now.
If I come across a Fate, I'll run it, but I don't need the XP from it...even though I'm leveling 2 classes at the same time (ACN and CNJ), which new players just don't do (only leveling their first class til 30 when they realize they need a second and third) Heck, my "main" class (28 ACN) is my highest (CNJ is almost 27), and I don't even run dungeons on it (that's my CNJ...I'm not sitting in queue lol), just leveling with quests (no leves and I've forgotten both Hunting Logs). I may even get SMN/SCH before I open Haukke Mannor...which is kinda scary lol
Yeah, I do know what I'm doing and how to maximize my XP across 2 classes (really should get on THM again and get Swiftcast...) but I do remember overleveling for the MSQ until later on for my main (this character) when I had no idea what to do.
Not sure if this had been mentioned in other threads but how about making a minimum time fates are allowed to be up 5 minutes (with the exception of boss fates). Gives all a chance to get there and cap fame. For those grinding ATMA they can just move on.
As far as I have found you don't have to cap or stick around the fate to get ATMA.
The thing is new FATEs don't appear until the old ones get cleared first, so cutting and running will just make you wait longer instead of finishing them to begin with.

Could just invite them to your party, then they'd get a better score too.
well here's the dilemma really. without atma farming, new players are left to try to solo fates. with atma farming, new players are struggling to complete the fates before they end. the real solution in the current game, as mentioned prior, is to invite the new players to your party so they can get gold on the fates.

If a level ten wants to grind level ten FATEs, more power to 'em. Who are you to tell them they can't do FATEs at their level. Maybe they don't feel confident enough as their class to go to dungeons yet. Just because it may not be the most efficient way to level gives you no right to say "How dare you complain about not being able to complete FATEs at level ten, even though these FATEs are level ten! I'm doing Atmas noob, get outta my way!"
