If you do not get a drop w/in 2-4hr change zones. I got lucky a a few by not sitting in 1 zone. It is still luck tho.

I'll suggest you just play new content and wait for the inevitable nerf. Animus weapon a month from now will be the same item someone got today. Just play and have fun, and worry about e-peen stroking on whatever elite item comes next.

I'm on the same boat as you. I have 0 Atmas and I spent so much time getting them... I just gave up

For ppl with no luck with atma hunting do what i do and spend that time on something else that isn't heavily influenced by rng.
You can:
-grind pvp stuff
-make gil and become richer than you are now
-level classes / gearing classes
-typically anything that isn't atma
Seriously you'd feel so bad after countless hours of atma hunting everyday and getting low to no drops.
Let's say u spent a 100 hours +
Well, that 100 hours could have been put to better use on something that's actually attainable without the rng curse.
I feel bad for you for real lol
Like i'd love to have my own animus but just tht uncertainty is what's keeping me from seriously taking the time to grind all 12 pieces.
Cuz i'd be sooooooooooooo sad and feel like a goof if i got it and to only find out they raised the drop rate in the next few weeks or something.

I actually agree with you here Yumi, sometimes it is better to also know what your limit is and to possibly just move areas if you decide you do wanna keep going or just find something that you find more fun to do for a couple of hours.
